I'm sort of proud to have read <strong>Truman</strong> before it won the Pulitzer Prize and could then say, "Yeah, I knew it was that good." As for Truman himself, I once remember Bob Jones, Jr. saying that when Truman was President, he used to pray, "Lord, give us a better president than Truman." Jones said that later he began praying, "Lord, give us a president as good as Truman."
