Happy birthday to Scott, who at age 19 is almost out of the teen years! Here’s the present I’ll be sending him.

Nice! You are certainly the most artistic of Scott’s…um…admirers.

BTW, who are you calling “Dummies”?

Is Scott really just 19? Because I remember him when I was at BJU. And that was, um, 5 years ago?

Hey, all I have to say is that when I’m 50 and I look 30, all the rest of you are going to be jealous! ;)

I haven’t decided yet what I am going to give Scott. I am thinking about buying one of those five-blade Gillete Fusion razors from the ilfilosofo online store to help him maintain his boyish good looks.

No, Melanie, I’m 26 today. These guys are just giving me a hard time for my “boyish good looks.”

But I wouldn’t mind the child prodigy charge, either! :)

Scott, if you only knew the glory of wearing a beard.

In the words of Clement of Alexandria, “For God wished women to be smooth and to rejoice in their locks alone growing spontaneously, as a horse in his mane. But He has adorned man, like the lions, with a beard, and endowed him as an attribute of manhood, with a hairy chest, a sign of strength and rule.”

    Boyish good looks . . .
